My computer somehow got spyware not long ago. My dad did the nondestructive system recovery, and he told me it wouldn’t mess up any of my data. Well, it did. I am a writer and I have all of my books on my computer–first manuscripts and such. I need help getting these files back! I can’t find them anywhere!

I have one that says for reinstalling dell tools system software, one says reinstalling sonic recordnow, one says dell dimension resource cd, one says reinstallation cd for xp, and one says reinstalling data/ fax modem. Now my photos are gone from my PC and cannot even be found in a trash bin. My camera automatically deletes pics when transferring to PC. Is there a way to recover any of the pics?
