i took my moms hard drive out of her old pc to use as an external drive but i forgot to remove the hp recovery patron. is there a way i can still remove it even though i already reformated both patrons, i would really like to recombine them but i don’t know how…please help

Without losing data? Unlikely. If you can move the data off temporarily then you could use fdisk or the built in partitioning tools in Windows. In XP it’s in Administrative Tools-Computer Management. You can delete and create partitions.
