hard drive recovery
the_minor_tough asked:

I need to install a new hard drive on a HP Pavilion laptop running XP? Can I use the recovery disks to install XP to the new hard drive? The old one was 20gb, so should I stay with that size? Will a 60gb hard drive work?

Thanks

The 60 in there and put the 20gb in there and put the 60 in next to it.
The 20gb in next to it.

It should work just fine. The recovery disc doesn’t really care what it’s installing on, it just wants to install.

You don’t have to constrain yourself to 20gb either. You can get any size you want or need.

    Good luck!
