How long do it takes to make a recovery disk?

It took about an hour for it to collect the files and write it but it’s been 5 hours now and it’s only done 2% of verification. Is this normal or is something wrong?

Should I ugrade from vista to windows 7 or just get a vista recovery disk?

is it done now? …i also wanaa know how long did it take…
i also have to make rescue disc…
